Morten Beck is an award-winning Dutch musician, composer, and producer.
For over 30 years, Morten is producing music and designing soundscapes and effects for film and TV. Using his vast collection of analog synthesizers such as Moog and Oberheim, he
is renown for creating enchanting ambient atmospheres, heartfelt compositions and synthesizer drones that you can feel. Since 2020 he works in his own studio under his own name and is compiling his first album from the result of 30 years of work for feature films.
Morten became interested in electronic music and synthesizers at an early age. He made his way into score work for television and film, and as a studio musician, specialized in programming Moog modular synthesizers, sequencers, and drum computers in the late 80s and early 90s.
In 2022 -- many projects and 35 years later -- Morten released his first three albums under his own name in co-production with Marvels Film Production. A collection of yet unpublished works that ended up on the editing floor of movie and series productions in recent years.
Morten can be found in Swedish Lapland in the wintertime -- in the Arctic circle -- enjoying the Sami culture and joining the reindeer herders. Most of his work on his Nordic Noir albums has been composed in Jokkmokk, Lapland. Also, see https://mortenbeck.com.

The soundtrack has been composed of hundreds of recordings of two different choirs, from Bratislava and Cologne, live drums, basses, celli, session strings from NI, and of course my Oberheims and the Model 88 Moog Unit modular synth.
Theme music, sound design, sound effects, foley recording and Dolby mastering for this award-winning feature by Marvel's film. Dark cello undertones, emotional strings and claustrophobic soundscapes for a movie staged in a confined German bunker.
